We stayed here for one night and were delighted by the close proximity to both Swami's State Beach and Moonlight State Beach, making our morning beach strolls a breeze and perfect for soaking in the sun and ocean views. the cozy, garden-view room suited our needs well as a couple looking to explore the vibrant Encinitas area.

our stay at twelve senses retreat was wonderful! the eco-friendly queen room with a garden view was beautifully designed, making us feel relaxed. the staff, especially anke, went above and beyond, even providing our service dog with a bed and treats. it's a short drive to the beach and close to restaurants and shops.

A Unique and Calming Experience

My stay in the Queen Room with Garden View was absolutely delightful. The eco-friendly design and thoughtful touches, like a cozy bed for our service dog, made us feel right at home. Anke and the staff were incredibly accommodating, ensuring that everything, from the sparkling wine to breakfast, was perfect. It's a peaceful retreat that's just a short drive to the beach, but I wish the parking was a bit more spacious.

Perfect getaway for couples

The moment we arrived, there was a bottle of Prosecco chilling on the balcony. A nice touch for our anniversary, don't you think? We soaked in the amazing tub, feeling totally at peace in that gorgeous room.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but you get what you pay for, that’s for sure.

Breakfast was a game changer—think organic delights that'll make your taste buds dance! Loved chilling in the hammock on the balcony. Plus, the location is prime, just a short drive from the beach and local hot spots.

The walls are pretty thin, so keep it down, lovebirds! And, while the room is cozy, the shower situation was a bit too open for my taste.

Comfortable Stay with Potential for Improvement

Our one-night stay in the Queen Room with Balcony was delightful, especially the remarkable service from Anke. Her understanding and empathy were a balm during a stressful time. However, the shower's design left much to be desired. I prefer more privacy. A good place overall, just be mindful of the bathroom layout.

This was just a great fit for short visits in Encinitas with good price-value balance. The shower design was unique but expect to get wet since there’s no door. Keep an eye out for low water supply options near the main fridge.
